Indicative range
Choose a sector and enter your figures to see the range.
This is an indicative estimate only, not a certified financial valuation. The real price is set through negotiation and due diligence, and depends on assets, debt, contracts and earnings quality.
How the estimate works
- 1We start from annual net profit, the first figure a serious buyer looks at.
- 2We multiply it by a common multiple range for your sector, e.g. ×1.5 to ×3 for professional services.
- 3We add 15% if revenue is growing and take off 20% if it's declining.
- 4Companies younger than two years get a 15% discount for their short track record.
- 5If the company isn't profitable, we use 30% to 60% of annual revenue.
How to raise your company's value before selling
- Audited financial statements for the last two or three years.
- Written contracts with key customers and suppliers.
- Less dependence on the owner personally.
- A settled tax and social insurance position.
