Terms of use

CompanyExit is an online platform for presenting opportunities to buy registered companies in Egypt and organising contact between sellers and prospective buyers.

The platform is not a party to any transaction and is not a financial broker, legal, tax or accounting adviser. We never hold funds on behalf of users. Any agreement is made directly between seller and buyer, at their own responsibility.

You must be at least 18 and legally able to enter contracts. You agree to provide accurate information, keep it up to date and keep your password confidential.

The mobile number you verify must belong to you. You are responsible for all activity on your account.

We may suspend or close any account that breaches these terms or is used for fraud or harassment.

You confirm you own the company listed, or are legally authorised to offer it for sale, and that the company is registered and operating lawfully.

Documents you upload must be genuine and current, and the financial and descriptive information in your listing must be accurate and not misleading to the best of your knowledge.

You alone are responsible for what you share with buyers in conversations and the data room, and you decide who may see your company's identity.

Before requesting a company's details you accept the confidentiality agreement published on the platform and agree to use the information only to evaluate the deal.

You are responsible for your own due diligence with your advisers, and must not rely on the platform to verify a company's financials or its tax or legal position.

We manually review uploaded documents for completeness and consistency with the listing. The Verified badge means we have seen the core registration documents. It is not a guarantee of the financial figures, the absence of liabilities, or the company's value.

We may reject, request changes to, or take down any listing at any time without giving detailed reasons.

You may not post misleading information, list unlawful businesses, impersonate others, scrape user data, attempt to bypass confidentiality or access controls, send spam, or use the platform to contact a listed company's employees or customers without the seller's permission.

The platform is free during launch. If we introduce fees for specific services, we will announce them in advance and they will not apply retroactively.

You keep ownership of the content you upload and grant us a non-exclusive licence to display and process it as needed to operate the service, within your privacy settings.

The platform's design, brand and text belong to CompanyExit and may not be copied without permission.

The service is provided "as is". We do not guarantee that any deal will close, that user-provided information is accurate, or that the service will be uninterrupted.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any direct or indirect losses arising from dealings between users or from reliance on published information.

We may update these terms and will publish the updated version on this page with its date. Continuing to use the platform after an update means you accept it.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt, and the courts of Cairo have jurisdiction over any dispute.
